National Park St. Lawrence Islands (St. Lawrence Islands National Park) was founded in 1904 to 24.4 square kilometers in the province of Ontario, Canada. The territory of the park consists of 21 islands, each of which is in line with the St. Lawrence River.

To date, the park administration is engaged in the development and control of natural areas and historic and cultural sites in the park. For example, within the park is a British gunboat, which was the War of 1812.

All in keeping with the St. Lawrence River is approximately 1,000 islands, and in the park includes only the largest of them. In ancient times there was no water, and were only hilly terrain, which left behind the glaciers, which left the territory of the park about 10 000 years ago. Later came the water and formed the St. Lawrence River, whose waters flooded all the surrounding land and as a result hills turned into islands.
